Entervo Analytic Training

In the training room

Entervo Analytic is an application within Entervo 2 itself. It is an analytic part of the Entervo.

Training of the application for one day is like a first step from the one thousand steps. It is just not possible to understand much about it.

However, we do get a lot of information on it capabilities. By knowing this, we hope to be able to discover it full potential soon after it is being deployed.

The training went well. We did argued on some standard operation of the application. Example, how the application calculating an average of the collected data. If 20 set of data (numbers) were collected during a month, an average of it for that particular month is the total of the collected data (20 set) divided by the number of days in that month.

Beside those confusion, Entervo Analytic is a great tools for statistic. It can be used to calculate occupancy, duration of stays, etc..

Even though it is part of Entervo 2, it data will be stored on different server. This is due to heavy usage of the resources during data manipulation. We will not want interruption to operation server during this time.

During the first few month of deployment, it will not be of much used. It will need a few month to collect data to make sense to the statistic it produced.

From the airport to the hotel.....

Our destination was Monchengladbach. We took a taxi from the airport.

It was still pretty early, around 7:30am, but Dusseldorf was already awakened. The road was very busy at that hour. At certain location there were even some traffic jammed.

B&B Hotel - our home for the next 6 days
We reach the hotel after about 35 minutes. The rooms was already booked and we checked in without any problem but we has to pay in advance, the full amount.

Since it was pretty early and I feel pretty fresh and energetic, I decided to proceed to the S&B factory and attended the Entervo Analytic training.

Flight to Dusseldorf

Eventhough the flight tickets were from Etihad but the flight carrier was from Virgin Australia. The flight was on time at KLIA and we took off at 8:30pm as scheduled.

The flight was pretty rough. Many time the seat belt warning went on. Pretty scarry when it shook violently at 40,000 feet and 900km per hour. But the food was pretty good!

We reached AbuDhabi at 11:30pm as scheduled. The transit was about 2.5 hrs.

The flight to Dusseldorf was at 2:10am. We check-in at 1:00am. The security was pretty tight. I have to remove my belt just to pass the metal detector.

This time the carrier was Etihad itself. The seat was a little smaller but the flight was smoother. The ground speed was 100km/hours slower.

We landed in Dusseldorf on schedule, 6:30am, local time. To our surprised, the town already waken up. It was already a traffic jammed down the highways.

The luggage took sometime to collect but the taxi was there waiting for us as soon as we exit the arrival hall.

Flight Schedule

We went using two different flight. Shaharudin and Surya went on Sunday morning. They will arrive on the same day. They will have sufficient time to rest before attending a Entervo Analytic training on Monday.

I went on a later flight. Departure on 8:15pm on Sunday. I will arrive in Dusseldorf on Monday at 6:30am.

It will be a bit of a rush trying to attend the Monday morning training, but I'll give it a try. Worst come to worst, I'll need their help to catch up with the training content.

FAT Visit To Germany

This visit is part of the Entervo upgrading activity. This is my first time arranging an overseas visit, in fact this my first time going abroad.

It was a great challenge preparing for the visit. I have to write a memo to the CEO to get his approval for the visit and for the extra budget required.

The overseas traveling budget was exhausted due to frequent overseas traveling for Parking Guidance System which was earlier awarded and an Inter-traffic Conference early of the year.

The inclusion of iPerintis in the upgrading project team has also contributed in the deficit of the budget.

I also have to fill up a Traveling Request Form which also needs CEO approval. Another document that I need to fill up was the Advance Request Form which need to be approved by the GM (Tuan Hj Sam, but only 85% was approved from the amount I requested).

The approved person for the visit is:
Hishamuddin Minhaj
Shaharudin Yusof
Surya Omar

Wish us luck!
